Privacy Policy

Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image to create and secure your account.

Content you provide: the photos of your rooms, exteriors, and yards, and the styles and descriptions you add to generate redesigns, along with the redesigns you create.

Usage and device data: basic analytics such as pages visited, features used, approximate location from your IP address, and standard device and browser information.

Payment information: if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your plan and billing status but never your full card number.

To provide the service — generating your redesigns, storing your photos and history, and applying your saved styles across what you make.

To operate accounts, process subscriptions and credits, prevent abuse, and provide support.

To improve HausDraft, understand which features help, and keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal information.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the product working, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

We rely on trusted providers to run HausDraft: Google for sign-in, Stripe for payments, and cloud infrastructure and AI model providers to generate and store your redesigns. These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.

If you install the HausDraft extension for Chrome, it handles data as follows.

What it reads: only when you click the HausDraft icon, it looks at the images on the web page in the tab you clicked so you can pick one, and notes that page's address and title. It does not run in the background, read your browsing history, or read other tabs or other pages.

What it sends: when you press “Save to Mood Board”, it sends the one image you picked (the image file, or its web address when the image host does not allow the extension to read it), the address and title of the page it came from, and your HausDraft sign-in session (the hausdraft.com cookies in your browser) to hausdraft.com. To read the image file it downloads that image from the address the page already shows. It also asks hausdraft.com whether you are signed in. It does not send data to anyone other than hausdraft.com.

What is saved: the extension itself does not store your data. Images you save become assets in your HausDraft Mood Board on hausdraft.com, the same as images you upload on the website, and are covered by the rest of this policy. You can delete them there at any time.

Data from the extension is used only to provide its save-to-Mood-Board features. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except the service providers described above, and the use of information received through the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We keep your account, photos, and generated redesigns for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual photos or your account at any time; we remove associated content within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

HausDraft is a home design tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the product evolves; we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
